Following a brief hiatus in 1992/1993 MORBID DARKNESS began work on what would become the 'Return From Death Demo #2 1994'. This time, the duo would enter a local recording studio, and this time a real drum kit was utilized. Bass guitar also made its debut on this recording. The demo would feature artwork by friend and legend Stevo Dobbins of IMPETIGO and exhibited a more old-school heavy death metal approach. A meager number of copies sold, and many were sent out to friends, fanzines and record labels.

Later, in 2004, the demo was released partially on 7" vinyl by Autopsy Kitchen Records as 'Warfare At Winters Solstice' by longtime friend and fan Dale Roy. Later still, in 2014, upon acquiring the master tapes, Chris had them digitally transferred and remixed the demo releasing it on a very limited CDR run as 'Return From Death 2014 Remix'.

27 years later, with only a select few old schoolers perhaps remembering anything about MORBID DARKNESS, a limited cassette run is available to those in the know, and perhaps a few who are not. Only 27 copies have been created and once they're gone it is quite likely that this will be the last celebration of this old slab of Canadian Metal history.
